About Us
The Covelo Public Cemetery District is a special district formed by the County of Mendocino in 1957 to serve the community of Round Valley and surrounding mountains.
The District caretakes three cemeteries: the Valley View Cemetery, the Pioneer or Foster Cemetery, and the Hagne Cemetery. See Cemeteries for more information.
The District is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees appointed by the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors. Our mission is to manage and maintain an attractive, safe and serene cemetery environment, and provide cost effective interment services for our community, families and friends. The District Board conducts its business in accordance with its Board of Trustee Bylaws.
