Cemeteries
The Covelo Public Cemetery District caretakes three cemeteries located in and surrounding Round Valley.
Valley View Cemetery
Valley View Cemetery is the District's largest and only active cemetery and is located in the western foothills of Round Valley off Cemetery Lane. The cemetery is open daily from dawn to dusk.
Valley View is an endowment cemetery that consists of three sections: Masonic, Spurlock and Valley View. Established in 1873, the Masonic part of the cemetery is the oldest section. The Spurlock family plot later became part of the cemetery upon donation by Frank Weymouth. From north to south, the sections are Spurlock, Masonic and Valley View.
